Ingredients-
Donuts:
1 cup gluten free flour
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ tsp baking powder
¾ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 large egg
½ cup milk
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
2 tsp fresh lemon vest
Lemon glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1-2 tsp milk
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F and spray/prepare donut pan.
Step 2: Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Add the egg, milk, oil, lemon juice, and lemon vest and mix until batter is combined. Do not over mix.
Step 4: Pipe or scoop the batter into your donut pan, filling no more than half way.
Step 5: Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 6: Let baked donuts cool completely on a cooling rack.
Lemon glaze:
Step 1: wisk all glaze ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
Step 2: Dip or drizzle glaze on top of cooled donuts and serve.
